Karmisoft ("we", "our", or "us") built the CabClick Rider and CabClick Captain mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using our apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Location Data: We collect your precise GPS location while you use the app. This is essential for core functionality — riders need it to request pickups, and captains need it to accept and navigate to ride requests. Location is only collected while the app is active.

• To match riders with available captains in real time
• To display your location on the map during an active ride
• To send ride confirmations and status updates
• To manage your account and authenticate you securely
• To provide customer support when you contact us

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is only shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Between riders and captains: When a ride is matched, limited information (name, location) is shared between the rider and captain to complete the trip.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

4. Location Data

Location access is required for the core functionality of both apps. We use your device's GPS to:

• Show your position on the map
• Connect you with nearby captains or riders
• Provide turn-by-turn navigation to the pickup or destination

Location data is transmitted securely and is not stored beyond what is needed to complete your ride. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings, though this will prevent the app from functioning properly.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. Ride history may be retained for a limited period for operational and legal purposes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure server storage. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
